From attic room to wholesale with webshop

This Dongense entrepreneur started trading products in the attic in 2005. Now more than 17 years later, Orange Planet is a wholesaler with a webshop ( OrangeShop.eu ) with a wide range of products in different categories: from fitness items to beauty products and from household equipment to trendy gadgets.

Orange Planet used to sell well-known TV articles such as Nicer Dicer, Magic Bullit and Shake Weight. Currently, the Vibroshaper, Root Slayer and Turbo Scrub are indispensable in the range

Sustainable entrepreneurship in Dongen

Not only doing business and continuing to grow is important to Orange Planet, but also the way in which it is done. For example, the CSR wiser was achieved two years ago. Since then, a number of important steps have been taken. The company is a member of WeCycle and 90% of the waste cardboard is recycled into in-the-box filling material. In addition, the company has started providing free plastic recycle bins to local associations and schools, and they are still allowed to sign up . Something that fits within the United Nations SDG target 12.5, which Orange Planet is pursuing. This target means that by 2030, waste production must be significantly reduced through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse.

The Orange Planet building is now equipped with 108 solar panels, LED lamps and a charging station. Orange Planet is also looking at how Tichelrijt can become greener, more sustainable, more climate neutral and more circular together with the municipality.
